- Tamarind 2 lemon size balls
- Garlic 2 whole
- Sundakkai vathal 2 tbsp
- Manathakazhi vathal 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil 2 tbsp
- Sesame oil 1 tsp
- Pepper corns 4 tsp
- Red chili 3 nos
- Coriander seeds 2tsp
- fenugreek seeds 1/2tsp
- jeera seeds 1/2tsp
- rice 1tsp
- urud dal 1tsp
- small onion 6 nos
in the same pan grind them all together into a smooth paste.
Method:
- Extract the tamarind juice by soaking the tamarind in hot water
- Mix the vatha kulambhu paste in the tamarind extract add turmeric powder and salt to it
- keep them boiling,now fry the garlic and the vathal in sesame oil until garlic become golden colour
- Add the fried item in the boiling kulambu and let it boil until the raw smell goes off and oil start to appear on top of kulambu
- Season it
Add 1tsp of sesame oil in the frying pan when the oil is hot add mustard seeds once they start to pop add fenugreek ,asafotida and curry leaves immediately switch of the gas add the hot seasoning to the kulambu before serving
