Rasam

                    
          Rasam is my all time favorite after long travel during sick it is easy and quick, my aunt my father's sister she is best cook in our family one day she taught me how to cook perfect rasam i didn't write or anything it just stored in my mind so quickly even still whenever i prepare it i remember the way she told me 


Ingredients:
  1. Tamarind lemon size(extract juice from tamarind by soaking it in hot water)
  2. Tomato 1
  3. Jaggery  a pinch
  4. Coriander leaves small bunch
Rasam powder:
  1. Coriander seeds 2tsp
  2. Jeera seeds       1tsp
  3. Pepper corns  3 tsp
  4. Garlic  2pods
  5. Red chilies 2nos
Seasoning:
  1. Oil 1tsp
  2. Mustard seeds 1tsp
  3. Curry leaves 10 leaves
  4. Asefotida apinch
  5. Red chili  1no 
Method:
  1. In the pot take the tamarind juice add salt turmeric powder 
  2.  Squeeze one tomato in the tamarind juice mash it with your hand
  3. Boil the tamarind juice for 3 minutes once the tomato cooked well add coriander stems 
  4. Let it rest for while 
  5. Mean time blend the Rasam powder coarsley
  6. Now add the rasam powder to tamarind and tomato mixture
  7. Bring it to boil once bubble starts to coming switch of the stove,add jaggery to it
  8. Add the seasoning garnish with coriander leaves
